11th Ayurveda Day 2026: Massive Participation Across 38 Countries Including India, 1.32 Crore Citizens Show Support

The 11th Ayurveda Day was organized on September 23 both in India and on a global scale. This year's celebration was based on the theme "Ayurveda for a Better Tomorrow," which witnessed extensive public participation.

According to official data, 1,32,47,311 citizens expressed their support on the Ayurveda Day digital platform. Information regarding more than 22,000 activities was received through the official website of the event, while a total of 13,10,690 participants registered for nationwide programs. Additionally, over 90,000 photographs showcasing public participation and various activities were received during the event.

The digital platform for Ayurveda Day 2026 (ayurvedaday.org.in) provided a shared medium for citizens, communities, institutions, and organizations to record their participation and share information about organized activities. Within India, states such as Maharashtra, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh saw particularly widespread participation, where programs were organized across various institutions and communities to increase awareness of Ayurveda.

The global reach of the celebration was also significant. Information on Ayurveda Day activities was received from more than 38 countries worldwide, including the United Kingdom, United States, China, Japan, Finland, Afghanistan, Ghana, New Zealand, Russia, Georgia, and Albania.

A variety of activities were organized during the celebrations, primarily including Ayurveda awareness programs, health and wellness camps, public awareness initiatives, educational programs, medicinal plant planting and conservation campaigns, Ayurveda diet and healthy eating practice sessions, and citizen engagement campaigns.
