Ayushman Card is the Biggest Support for Families During Crisis: Union Minister Annapurna Devi
Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi highlighted the importance of the Ayushman Card on Ayushman Bharat Day, urging eligible families to avail themselves of its benefits.
Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt. Annapurna Devi, emphasized the significance of the Ayushman Card via the social media platform 'X' on the occasion of Ayushman Bharat Day. She urged citizens to understand the utility of the card rather than questioning its purpose. The Minister stated that this card can prove to be the greatest support for an individual and their family during any major crisis.
Smt. Annapurna Devi explained that eligible families are provided with a strong shield of health security under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Under this initiative, free treatment facilities of up to 5 lakh rupees per family per year are available. She further clarified that cashless treatment facilities are being provided in empaneled government and private hospitals.
On this occasion, the Union Minister called upon all citizens to take a pledge to ensure that no eligible family is deprived of this critical health facility. She appealed to people to be aware of the scheme themselves and to raise awareness among others regarding its benefits.
