PM Narendra Modi Shares Sanskrit Subhashitam, Emphasizes Importance of Determination and Perseverance
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam to illustrate that a determined person does not give up until their goal is achieved.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam on the social media platform X, highlighting the significance of firm resolve and unwavering perseverance in life. The Prime Minister stated that individuals who are determined and steadfast never surrender until they reach their objective.
Drawing an example from the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean), the Prime Minister emphasized that just as the deities remained undistracted by the precious gems and the deadly poison that emerged during the process, they continued their efforts until the nectar of immortality was obtained.
The Subhashitam shared by the Prime Minister is: “रत्नैर्महाब्धेस्तुतुषुर्न देवा न भेजिरे भीमविषेण भीतिम्। सुधां विना न प्रययुर्विरामं न निश्चितार्थाद्विरमन्ति धीराः॥”
Explaining the meaning of this verse, the Prime Minister noted that just as the deities continued their persistent efforts without being swayed by the gems and the lethal poison found in the ocean until they achieved the nectar, similarly, determined and unwavering souls do not rest until they attain their goal.
