Under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, youth will be united for a drug-free life through 'MY Bharat' and partner organizations.

As part of the 'Drug-Free Youth for Developed India-100 Week Drug-Free Youth Campaign' operated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, a comprehensive national youth mobilization will be carried out on September 20, 2026. On this occasion, nationwide pledge ceremonies will be organized at 1,067 locations across the country.
The program will be held at 'MY Bharat' offices in 471 districts and at 596 centers of partner organizations. The primary objective of this campaign is to inspire youth to remain drug-free through collective oaths and a signature campaign. The program involves a vast network of educational and university institutions, industry associations, NGOs, local partner organizations, and spiritual organizations. Among the spiritual organizations, Mata Amritanandamayi Math (130 locations), Heartfulness (74 locations), and BAPS (56 locations) are playing their part in the participation.
The partner network includes EPSI, CIPU, AIU, Project Point, ASSOCHAM, CII, FICCI, 245 local partner organizations, and 18 MY Bharat chapters of private/premier institutions. During the National Pledge Ceremony, a drug-free pledge, signature campaign, theme-based street plays, slogan writing, and youth-led discussions will be organized to translate awareness into positive actions.
It is noteworthy that the current phase of this campaign began with activities on September 18. On the first day, 259 institutions from all 28 states and 8 union territories participated, with 146,520 people joining through 1,430 activities.
The '100-Week Drug-Free Youth Campaign' is an ongoing program focusing on prevention, awareness, a healthy lifestyle, and the positive participation of youth. Its first activity cycle is based on three key themes—'My Health, My Pride', 'Healthy Youth, Drug-Free Youth', and 'Life Skills Month'—which promote health, fitness, and community engagement.
