Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25-year journey of service as Chief Minister and Prime Minister, extending his heartfelt congratulations.

Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, has extended his heartfelt greetings to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the completion of 25 years of his service and dedication. Through a series of posts on the social media platform X, Amit Shah praised the Prime Minister's developmental journey and his significant contributions.
The Home Minister noted that Narendra Modi took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. He stated that this journey, spanning his tenure as both Chief Minister and Prime Minister, has become synonymous with poor welfare, women's empowerment, the upliftment of youth, and the prosperity of every section of society. According to Shri Amit Shah, through the implementation of public welfare policies, transparency, and firmness in decision-making, PM Modi redefined governance and established an ideal for the 'politics of performance.'
Discussing the tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, Amit Shah mentioned that PM Modi oversaw the reconstruction of earthquake-affected Kutch, provided 24-hour electricity to villages through the Jyotigram Yojana, and gave a new direction to investments and industries through Vibrant Gujarat and solar energy initiatives. He noted that by achieving an agricultural growth rate of over 8%, a model of good governance was created in Gujarat, which later became the foundation for the entire country.
Referring to achievements as Prime Minister, the Home Minister stated that India has reached new heights in space, maritime affairs, internal security, and on global platforms. He highlighted that under the leadership of the Modi government, 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty, and millions of families have received permanent housing, health security cover of up to 5 lakh rupees, Ujjwala gas connections, and tap water facilities.
Amit Shah further added that India is currently advancing rapidly in sectors such as manufacturing, digital payments, startups, semiconductors, defense production, and renewable energy. He remarked that amidst global instability, India has emerged as a significant voice for peace and harmony. The Prime Minister has given the nation the mantra of 'Viksit Bharat,' instilling a resolve to make India a leader in every field by 2047.
