Mandsaur: District Opium Office Raises Awareness Among Students on Ill Effects of Drugs Under 'Mission Yuva Raksha'
The District Opium Office of Mandsaur organized an awareness program at Sharda Public School, where students took a pledge for a drug-free India.

The District Opium Office, located in Mandsaur Second Division, organized an awareness program at Sharda Public School in Piplia Mandi as part of 'Mission Yuva Raksha'. The primary objective of this program was to sensitize students to the harmful effects of drug abuse and explain the importance of living a drug-free life.
During the program, participants were provided with detailed information regarding the role of the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), its functions, and its contributions toward preventing the misuse of narcotics and enforcing relevant laws. To make the awareness activities interactive, a question-and-answer competition was also conducted. Through this competition, students were educated on how the consumption of intoxicants can adversely affect an individual's physical and mental health, family life, education, and career.
Discussions were held on the side effects of various narcotics, measures for prevention, and the critical role of youth in building a drug-free society. At the conclusion of the event, the students and other participants took a pledge for a drug-free India, expressing their commitment to stay away from narcotics and contribute to the creation of a healthy society.
Organized with the cooperation of the Principal of Sharda Public School, Piplia Mandi, the program saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 150 students. The initiative aimed to alert the youth to the dangers of narcotics and inspire them to become responsible citizens.
