Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia to Visit Mizoram on October 12 and 13 to Launch 10 Projects
Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development projects and lead the North East Bankers Conclave 3.0 in Mizoram.

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, will be on a two-day visit to Mizoram on October 12 and 13, 2026. This will be his second visit to Mizoram as the Minister for Development of North Eastern Region. The objective of this visit is to promote the development of the North Eastern region, empower the youth, and establish better coordination among various stakeholders.
During his visit, Shri Scindia, along with Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma, will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for 10 projects. After arriving in Aizawl on October 12, he will visit Tuivawmit, where these development initiatives will be launched. Following this, he will visit Mizoram University to interact with students, including those associated with the 'Ashtalakshmi Darshan Program' of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region.
On the second day of his visit, October 13, Shri Scindia will return to Mizoram University, where he will inaugurate and deliver the keynote address at the 'North East Bankers Conclave 3.0'. The primary objective of this conclave is to promote financial inclusion in the North Eastern region, simplify the availability of credit, and discuss the role of the banking sector in the region's economic growth. During his visit, he will also hold discussions with representatives of social organizations and experts from the banking sector.
