Circle-Level Postal Court to be Held in Delhi on October 28; Applications Invited for Grievance Redressal

The Delhi Circle of the Department of Posts, under the Ministry of Communications, will organize a monthly Postal Court on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. The event is aimed at the settlement of complaints regarding postal services within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi and the state of Delhi.
The Postal Court will be held at the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle. This office is located on the third floor of Meghdoot Bhavan, near the Jhandewalan Metro Station in New Delhi. The primary objective of this initiative is to conduct personal hearings of public complaints and issues to ensure their on-the-spot resolution. The Office of the Chief Postmaster General will provide a personal hearing to every complainant.
A deadline has been set for submitting complaints related to postal services. Interested individuals can send their grievances by Monday, October 19, 2026, to the Assistant Director (CS), Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle, New Delhi 110001. Complaints received after the specified date will not be considered during this Postal Court session.
The department has clarified that complaints must be concrete and concise. Grievances of a general nature or those related to policy matters will not be entertained. Furthermore, this circle-level Postal Court is exclusively for those complaints that were previously raised at the divisional-level Postal Court but remain unresolved.
