The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) is launching Special Campaign 6.0 (SCDPM 6.0) to reduce public grievances and simplify rules through the settlement of pending cases.

In accordance with the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM 6.0) launched by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) on September 16, 2026, the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) has commenced preparations for the year 2026. The main phase of this campaign will run from October 2, 2026, to October 31, 2026.
The primary objective of this campaign is to reduce the number of pending cases, strengthen internal monitoring mechanisms, and improve record management practices. Additionally, initiatives related to the 'simplicity of rules' will be further empowered to make the lives of pensioners easier.
Details of the Targets: Under SCDPM 6.0, the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare has set a target to resolve 6,500 public grievances and 800 appeals. Furthermore, 847 physical files and 653 electronic files have been identified for review. To assist pensioners, 23 office memorandums aimed at ease of living will be issued. The department expects to generate revenue of 25,000 rupees through these activities.
Cleanliness and Environmental Initiatives: In coordination with central government pensioners' associations, the department has identified 21 cleanliness sites across the country. During the campaign preparations, the Joint Secretary (Pension) inspected identified sites within the office premises and instructed officials to achieve the targets. Additionally, under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' program, a plantation drive will be organized on October 1, 2026, at the CSOI Vinay Marg Sports Complex in New Delhi. This event will be attended by the Minister of State (Pension and Pensioners' Welfare) Dr. Jitendra Singh, Secretary (Pension) Mrs. Nivedita Shukla Verma, and other ministry officials.
Monitoring Mechanism: A dedicated team will monitor the daily progress of the campaign. All details will be uploaded to the SCDPM portal operated by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances.
