Indian Railways Extends Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi-Agra Cantt Express to Mathura
Indian Railways has approved the extension of train number 11901/11902 Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi-Agra Cantt Express, which will now operate up to Mathura station.
Indian Railways has granted approval to extend the services of train number 11901/11902 Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi-Agra Cantt Express to Mathura station. This decision provides passengers with an additional rail service between Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi and Mathura, offering greater convenience to those traveling between Jhansi, Agra, and Mathura.
Following the approved extension, train number 11901 will now travel from Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi to Mathura, while train number 11902 will depart from Mathura for the return journey to Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi. Due to the extension to Mathura, the total travel distance of the train will increase from 217 km to 270 km.
According to the schedule, under the extended service, train number 11901 will depart from Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi at 16:00 and arrive in Mathura at 23:00. In the return direction, train number 11902 will depart from Mathura at 05:05 and reach Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi at 12:50.
Commercial stoppages will be provided at Raja Ki Mandi, Runkuta, Deen Dayal Dham, and subsequent stations along this extended route, allowing passengers at these locations to benefit from the rail service. This extension is expected to improve connectivity between Jhansi, Agra, and Mathura, while enhancing accessibility to intermediate stations along the route.
