Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Participates in 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2026' Campaign
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research and its nationwide institutes reaffirmed their commitment to cleanliness and hygiene under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2026' campaign.
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and its institutes located across the country actively participated in the 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2026' campaign. Through this initiative, the Council has reaffirmed its collective commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
During a program organized at Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi, Dr. M.L. Jat, Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) and Director General of ICAR, administered the cleanliness pledge to officials and employees. Similarly, Dr. Rajbir Singh, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension) of ICAR, administered the pledge at the Agricultural Research Building in New Delhi.
The pledge-taking ceremony was attended by officers and staff from various institutes across the country, including the ICAR headquarters. Participants resolved to promote cleanliness, maintain hygiene, and make the workplace healthy and clean. The objective of this collective participation by ICAR is to establish cleanliness as a continuous commitment and an essential part of daily life.
