NITI Aayog Launches 'Special Campaign 6.0' to Resolve Pending Cases and Enhance Cleanliness
NITI Aayog has initiated Special Campaign 6.0 to institutionalize cleanliness in offices and minimize pending complaints and references.

NITI Aayog has launched 'Special Campaign 6.0' to institutionalize cleanliness within its secretariat, as well as its affiliated and subordinate offices, and to reduce the backlog of pending cases. Through this campaign, special focus will be placed on the disposal of pending public grievances, references from Members of Parliament (MPs), references from state governments, inter-ministerial references, parliamentary assurances, references from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), and appeals related to public grievances. Additionally, the campaign will emphasize the removal of unnecessary files and documents, better space management, and the improvement of the workplace experience in regional offices.
This initiative is part of the Special Campaign launched in 2021 by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), which was decided to be continued consistently from 2022 to 2026. Prior to this, Special Campaign 5.0 was conducted from November 2025 to August 2026.
Special Campaign 5.0 saw participation from NITI Aayog along with the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), the Atal Innovation Mission located at NITI Bhawan, and the National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development (NILERD) located in Narela. During this previous campaign, NITI Aayog resolved 4,105 public grievances, 127 PMO references, 34 public grievance appeals, and 5 parliamentary assurances.
Under Campaign 5.0, the disposal of files freed up approximately 90 square feet of office space, and a total revenue of 1,96,905 rupees was generated through the sale of scrap. Building upon this success, Special Campaign 6.0 is now being implemented.
