The Subhashitam shared by the Prime Minister reads: "Shuchitvam tyagita shauryam samanyam sukhadukhayoh. Dakshinyam chanuruktishcha satyata cha suhridgunah."
According to this verse, purity of heart, a spirit of sacrifice, courage, maintaining equanimity in both happiness and sorrow, competence, affection, and truthfulness are the characteristics of a noble person. The Prime Minister clarified that these qualities are not merely those of an ordinary friend, but are the identification of an individual endowed with an extraordinary personality.
