Department of Telecommunications Concludes 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2026' Campaign
The Department of Telecommunications has concluded a special cleanliness drive conducted under the theme 'Participation in Cleanliness, Clean India, Developed India'.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) organized the 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2026' campaign from September 17, 2026, to October 2, 2026. The campaign was based on the theme "Participation in Cleanliness, Clean India, Developed India".
Through this campaign, a comprehensive national movement was accelerated, involving active participation from citizens as well as senior officials and employees of the Department of Telecommunications headquarters, regional offices, field units, and related Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The department, its PSUs, and field offices conducted dedicated cleanliness drives across the country to rejuvenate and revive neglected areas and designated Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs).
The campaign culminated on October 2, 2026, on the occasion of 'Swachh Bharat Diwas'. To mark the occasion, Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, planted a sapling under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative.
