Ministry of Law and Justice Organizes 'Best Out of Waste' Workshop
As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, the Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice held a special workshop on creating useful items from waste materials.
The Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice organized a workshop on September 29, 2026, at the Conference Hall of Kartavya Bhawan-2 under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign. The theme of the workshop was "Best Out of Waste – Turning Waste into Wonder: Kabaad se Jugaad."
The program was conducted in collaboration with experts from the NGO India Aids and N.K. Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka, Sector-4. Expertise was shared during the workshop by Mrs. Archana Srivastava, General Secretary of India Aids NGO; Ms. Anjali Kharbanda, Principal of N.K. Bagrodia Public School; Ms. Baishakhi Bhattacharjee, TGT-Science and School Social Responsibility Coordinator; and Ms. Shweta Tulsyan, PGT-Geography and Health & Wellness Coordinator, along with volunteers Ms. Vidushi Sinha and Aryan Gupta.
The event was chaired by Mr. G. Panmei, Joint Secretary and Legislative Counsel (JS&LC) of the Legislative Department. Senior officials and employees of the department, as well as personnel from the Rajbhasha Wing and Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan, participated enthusiastically in the workshop.
During the session, experts used practical demonstrations to show how discarded items can be transformed into useful and attractive products through creativity and innovation. They shared several simple and effective methods to promote waste management, recycling, and a sustainable lifestyle.
Commending the enthusiasm of the participants, Mr. G. Panmei stated that adopting sustainable practices in daily life and making small, consistent efforts toward responsible waste management can contribute significantly to creating a clean and green environment. He encouraged everyone to find creative ways for the better utilization of waste.
