Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs Concludes 'Hindi Pakhwada', Releases E-Magazine 'Sansadiya Sarita'
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs organized Hindi Pakhwada from September 14 to 30, 2026, promoting the use of Hindi through various competitions and the launch of an e-magazine.
The 'Hindi Pakhwada' was organized with great enthusiasm in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs from September 14 to September 30, 2026. The event commenced on September 14, coinciding with Hindi Diwas, with a congratulatory message issued by the Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs.
During the fortnight, several competitions were organized for the officers and employees of the ministry. These included Hindi typing, Hindi dictation, Hindi noting and drafting, Hindi translation, essay and poem writing, as well as a special quiz competition for non-Hindi speakers. The ministry personnel participated actively in these activities.
At the closing ceremony held on September 30, 2026, Dr. Satya Prakash, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, addressed the employees and inspired them to strive to complete the maximum amount of their work in Hindi throughout the year, rather than limiting it only to the Pakhwada period.
On this occasion, Shri Nikunj Bihari Dhall, Secretary of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, stated that the government's policy is not limited solely to the preservation of the language, but aims to integrate Hindi into the mainstream of governance, administration, science, and modern technology. He called upon everyone to use simple and easy Hindi to make the language more effective and comprehensible.
During the program, the Secretary released 'Sansadiya Sarita', a Hindi e-magazine featuring creative works by the officers and employees of the ministry. This e-magazine has been published on the official website of the ministry. At the closing ceremony, the Secretary and Additional Secretary distributed prizes to the winners of the various competitions.
