Narayan Dewasi Assumes Charge as Member of Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities

Mr. Narayan Dewasi has officially assumed charge as a member of the governing body of the Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC). His appointment, made by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, is for a term of three years from the date of assuming charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

After taking charge, Mr. Dewasi expressed his gratitude for the responsibility and affirmed his commitment to the welfare and betterment of the De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic (DNT) communities. He stated that he would contribute toward fulfilling the established objectives of the board and addressing the needs and aspirations of these communities.

The Development and Welfare Board for De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC) is tasked with resolving issues related to the welfare and development of these specific communities. The board supports various initiatives aimed at the socio-economic development and empowerment of these groups.

It is expected that the inclusion of Mr. Dewasi in the governing body will strengthen the efforts to advance the organization's objectives. Notably, Mr. Swarup Singh Banjara had previously assumed charge as a member of the DWBDNC governing body on the 17th of this month.
