PM Mementos Auction: Opportunity to Own Rare Artifacts from Sikkim
Two unique artifacts from Sikkim have been put up for auction in the eighth edition of PM Mementos, with proceeds going to the Namami Gange project.

The eighth edition of 'PM Mementos,' organized by the Ministry of Culture, is providing citizens with an opportunity to connect with the country's diverse cultural heritage. This year's auction includes two distinct artifacts from Sikkim, showcasing the state's unique artistic legacy on a national level.
Among the items available for auction is a finely crafted brass statue of Lord Buddha, which was presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the Governor of Sikkim. The second artifact is a Tibetan Buddhist prayer wheel, known as 'Mani Khorlo.' This wheel is inscribed with the sacred mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hum,' symbolizing the spiritual and artistic traditions of the Himalayan state.
The PM Mementos initiative aims to bring people closer to the nation's cultural traditions while providing support for the 'Namami Gange' initiative. All proceeds generated from this auction will be dedicated to the Namami Gange project.
The deadline for the eighth edition of Prime Minister Mementos has been extended to October 31, 2026. Those interested in bidding for these mementos can apply online through the official PM Mementos e-auction portal.
