Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has shared a Sanskrit Subhashita on the social media platform X. In this verse, good health is described as the most important foundation for achieving the four primary goals of life: Dharma (righteousness), Artha (prosperity), Kama (desire), and Moksha (liberation).
In the shared shloka, the Prime Minister wrote: "Sukhopavishtaste tatra punyam chakruh kathamimam | dharmartha kama mokshanama rogyam mulam uttamam।।"
Explaining the meaning of this Subhashita, the Prime Minister stated that great sages, sitting in a state of peace, described this holy narrative. According to this, optimal health is the root and primary basis for achieving the four goals of life, namely Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha.
