PRR System Launched on MY Bharat Portal to Reward Active Youth with Prizes and Leadership Opportunities
The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has implemented a Points, Rewards, and Recognition (PRR) mechanism on the MY Bharat portal to encourage youth participation in nation-building.

The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has implemented a 'Points, Rewards, and Recognition' (PRR) mechanism through the 'Mera Yuva Bharat' (MY Bharat) portal to connect youth with volunteering, experiential learning, and nation-building activities. The primary objective of this initiative is to transform the active participation of young people into recognition, opportunities, and leadership roles.
Emphasizing the importance of this initiative, the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, stated that youth power is the strength of a developed India, and the Modi government is empowering the youth through this system.
Under the PRR mechanism, youth will be awarded points based on their activity, which can be converted into rewards at various levels:
For 1,000 points, participants will receive a formal letter of recognition signed by the Director of the MY Bharat Division. Those reaching 2,500 points will receive honor on official social media platforms, subject to consent. Youth achieving 5,000 points will be inducted into the special 'MY Bharat Digital Hall of Fame,' where their name, photo, and profile will be displayed. A hardcover book titled 'Modi@20' will be awarded for 7,500 points.
For 10,000 points, participants will receive a copy of William Dalrymple's book 'The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World,' signed by the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports. Those reaching 20,000 points will receive a copy of DK's book 'Treasures of India: From Antiquity to Modernity,' signed by the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports.
High achievers will also get the opportunity to interact with senior leadership. Youth who earn 50,000 points will have the chance to meet the Minister of State during the Viksit Bharat Youth Leadership Dialogue (VBYLD) or other major programs. Meanwhile, youth achieving the highest target of 1,00,000 points will be eligible to meet the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports. A felicitation ceremony for winners in both these categories is proposed to begin from October 2027.
Eligible youth will be identified through the MY Bharat portal, and their details will be verified by the MY Bharat headquarters. This initiative is an effort to foster a culture of service and leadership among the youth, strengthening the vision of 'Samarth Yuva, Viksit Bharat'.
