Indian Railways Launches New Daily Mail Train Between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal
Indian Railways has approved a new daily overnight rail service to improve passenger connectivity between Kanpur and Delhi.
Indian Railways has granted approval for the launch of a new daily rail service between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal. The primary objective of this decision is to provide passengers with an overnight train option and to enhance rail connectivity between Kanpur and Delhi.
The new service will operate as the 'Kanpur Central-Anand Vihar Terminal-Kanpur Central Mail', designated as train number 14153/14154. The train will cover a total distance of 428 kilometers in both directions.
According to the timetable, train number 14153 will depart from Kanpur Central at 8:40 PM and arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 4:50 AM the following morning, with a total travel time of 8 hours and 10 minutes. On the return journey, train number 14154 will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:25 PM and reach Kanpur Central at 7:25 AM, with a scheduled travel time of 8 hours.
This daily mail service will stop at eight major stations along the route, including Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri, and Ghaziabad.
The introduction of this new service is expected to facilitate smoother travel between Kanpur, Etawah, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, and the Delhi NCR region. It provides passengers with an additional and convenient overnight travel option between these locations, improving movement across this critical rail corridor.
