Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh Hosts Gathering for Former Medical Students from Jammu in Delhi
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh reunited with alumni of Government Medical College, Jammu, in New Delhi, praising their professional achievements and contributions to healthcare.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, and Minister of State for PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, hosted a dinner and interactive session for a group of Delhi-based former medical students from Jammu at his residence in New Delhi. The event was attended by alumni of Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, who currently hold senior positions in leading hospitals and healthcare institutions across Delhi-NCR and other regions.
Before entering public life, Dr. Jitendra Singh served as a Professor of Medicine and Diabetes. On this occasion, he reminisced about his association with GMC Jammu and expressed his happiness at seeing the professional progress of his former students. Dr. Singh remarked that for a teacher, one of the most satisfying aspects of their career is seeing their students advance in life and make meaningful contributions to society.
The reunion brought together medical professionals from various specializations, including medicine, neurology, respiratory medicine, oncology, psychiatry, pharmacology, pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, radiology, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, and hospital administration. The alumni shared memories of Dr. Jitendra Singh's classroom lectures and their academic years at GMC Jammu.
