Department of Pharmaceuticals Observes 'Hindi Use-Promotion Fortnight' to Encourage Hindi in Official Work
The Department of Pharmaceuticals organized a fortnight from September 14 to 29, 2026, to promote the effective use of the official language Hindi in government functions.

With the aim of encouraging the effective use of the official language Hindi and promoting its application in government functioning, the Department of Pharmaceuticals organized the 'Hindi Use-Promotion Fortnight' from September 14 to September 29, 2026. The primary goal of this program was to ensure the smooth compliance of the official language policy and to increase interest and participation in the use of Hindi among all regular and contractual officers and employees of the department.
Various competitions were organized during the fortnight, providing participants with the opportunity to showcase their expression, creativity, writing ability, and linguistic skills. These competitions included Hindi essay writing, Hindi dictation, Hindi noting and drafting, Hindi translation, Hindi general knowledge, Hindi debates, and Hindi poetry recitation.
In the debate competition held as part of the program, participants shared their views on critical topics such as environmental protection, while others displayed their poetic talent through poetry recitation. The officers and employees of the department participated enthusiastically in these activities, reflecting the department's commitment toward encouraging the use of the official language Hindi.
