Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Inaugurates Third International Bharat 6G Summit 2026
Held at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi, the summit saw the Bharat 6G Alliance sign five new Memorandums of Understanding and release nine technical white papers.

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, inaugurated the 'Third International Bharat 6G Summit 2026' at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi. Organized by the Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA), the summit brings together policymakers, global technology partners, telecom operators, academicians, and research institutions on a single platform to advance next-generation communication technologies and India's 6G ambitions.
On this occasion, the Bharat 6G Alliance exchanged five new Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen global and industry collaboration. These agreements were signed with GSMA, One6G Association, GTI Alliance Limited, 6G Industry Forum (6GIF), and VOICE. With these new collaborations, the Alliance's partnership network has expanded to 17 partners, adding to the previous 10 global and 2 domestic partners.
To showcase technical contributions, the Bharat 6G Alliance also released nine working group white papers. These documents cover critical topics including the 6G technology landscape and roadmap, Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), Fixed Wireless Access, optical technology, IMT spectrum readiness, sustainable 6G, cellular and WiFi synergy, Captive Non-Public Networks (CNPN), and 6G security.
During the ceremony, a significant joint report titled 'Progress Towards 6G Principles of the New Delhi Declaration: Action, Outcomes, and Outlook—First Edition, October 2026' was unveiled. This report highlights the progress and outcomes achieved one year after the 'New Delhi Declaration' was approved during the International Bharat 6G Summit 2025.
The summit, running from October 7 to 9, 2026, will feature detailed discussions on global 6G vision, standards, technology leadership, AI-native and sustainable networks, spectrum, and international cooperation. The Bharat 6G Alliance aims to build a secure, inclusive, and globally interoperable 6G ecosystem.
